So glad we chose it, spent 2 pleasant days here. The idea to include a microwave and refrigerators in the queen room was nice. We appreciated wake-up service available. Its staff was courteous and cordial. The vibe here was quiet...

I came here for 1 night and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was located just next door to the lake and downtown and Port Huron and near by stores and the beautiful Blue Water Bridge. I loved the room, the bed was very comfy. The clean bathroom was the best. The location was marvellous, not too far from Thomas Edison Depot Museum. It also was close to everything.

Friendly, helpful and very accommodating staff. Nearness to ample shopping. Actually, well located for most anything.
The only downfall is not being indoors during the long walk to your room. Would be great in good weather but not in the winter.

The Staff was AWESOME ! The check in was extremely easy , no hassle at all , The front desk clerk was hospitable and engaging , smiling and laughing the whole time . She was definitly a pleasure . Even engaged us in conversation as to what made us choose to stay at days in , because we are from canada . She was Great . The breakfast was very nice , I think the waffle maker made my day ! The room was soacious and clean ! LOve the fact that there was a coffee maker in the room .
The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable and could use replacing.

Price. Was able to book a king bed which was very comfortable. Smoke alarm was beeping when we arrived. We called to report before we left for the evening and it was repaired by the time we returned. Continental breakfast was adequate - fresh waffles were good.
Bathroom was in need of updating. Tub/shower was questionable. We chose not to use it.

I had a great time here! The cozy king room was perfect for a good night's sleep, and I really enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub after a long day. Just a heads-up, the outlet situation could be better, but overall, I can't wait to come back 😊

The motel is located close to the areas where I wanted to spend time.
The mattress on the bed was very broken down and uncomfortable. It was many years beyond its usefull life. There were no working lights on the walkway outside the room. Difficult to open the door and was not safe. Parking lot was not that convenient. Had to walk quite a way to the room.

This hotel is right over the U.S./Canadian border, which makes it convenient. This is the only reason to stay there.
The room was easily twice what it was worth. The hotel is grimy and hard to find with a small parking lot. The doors stuck. The toilets (both in the room and in the lobby) ran constantly but barely flushed. The air conditioning was inconsistent and didn't cool the room well.

The rooms have bugs in them ended up sleeping in my car went twice down to the office they move me to another room told me they were infested with beetles but the Exterminator said that there was no use to spray for them because they would keep coming I don't pay money to sleep with a bunch of beetles in the bed if I wanted to do that I would go camping
I got to the room got in the bed had bugs crawling all over me went down to the office twice they told me they were Beatles and that the Exterminator said there is no used to spray for them because they would keep coming I don't pay a hundred and some dollars for a hotel to sleep with a bunch of bugs if I wanted to do that I would go camping they also move me to another room and had the same problem with a bunch of beetles in the bed

Room was in poor condition. Although relatively clean, the room smelled musty and old. The building was in obvious need of maintenance. furniture was old and abused. fixtures in bath were gerry rigged to be functional. Not what I would expect for a Windham family property!!

It was easy to find.
The room had cockroaches during the day and with the lights and tv on. All the rooms had empty coffee cans placed outside the door for guests to use as ash trays. Empty food containers under the stairs. Long term crack head "guests" who had their grilles and indoor chairs established outside their room doors would stare and watch within close proximity. Door wouldn't close without effort. Desk clerk was oddly unprofessional. Back buildings appear to be condemned and have padlocks, and appear ready to cave in. Overall, was filthy and unsafe.

Staff was friendly and working hard. Pool was fresh and very enjoyable - the saving grace of the stay. Shower head was very nice. A Jet's pizza is within walking distance
- Even though we contacted the hotel to double check our reservation that morning, we were "upgraded" from a king to a double and offered a $3 per night "discount". Finally 20% was offered and accepted. Then we saw at least 2 king rooms sit empty all weekend - First assigned room smelled of wet dog - Second "non-smoking" room smelled very heavily of smoke (all of our belongings had to be washed when we got home) - Second floor outdoor walkway is filthy, desperately needing a power washing. - Coffee cans filled with cigarette butts and cruddy AC units are at every door - Stairways covered in outdoor carpet are torn and an accident waiting to happen. - A marble threshold between the bedroom and bathroom floors was a constant source of tripping or toe stubbing - The microwave did not work (but was replaced upon request), door chain was broken, 3 light bulbs were burned out - "Extended stay" residents swarmed the breakfast each day, making/wasting multiple waffles at a time. Buffet was kept tidy but lacked any type of fruit. - Insufficient supply of swim towels. - There was a constant cluster of people at the front desk door to walk past or through.
